From Brida

Brida - Paulo Coelho is such a lovely book! From the front cover picture to the last page, it stirred me, excited me, made me cry... wow...I am so obsessed with it now.

Not so often we feel we have been served more than what we paid for , yet alone in books. But Paulo never dissapointed me. He writes to my heart !

Here are the some of the quotes from the book that I loved.

"Nothing in the world is ever completely wrong … even a stopped clock is right twice a day."

"Sometimes certain blessings from God come crashing in through the windows"

"Do not try to explain feelings. Live everything intensely and treasure what you feel as a gift from God.”

"The noblest thing a human being can experienceis acceptance of the mystery"

"When you find your way you cannot be scared. You need to be brave enough to take wrong steps. The deceptions, failures, lack of enthusiasm, are tools that God places in our way to reveal the path."

“In his or her life, each person can take one of two attitudes: to build or to plant. Builders may take years over their tasks, but one day they will finish what they are doing. Then they will stop, hemmed in by their own walls. Life becomes meaningless once the building is finished. Those who plant suffer the storms and the seasons and rarely rest. Unlike a building, a garden never stops growing. And by its constant demands on the gardener’s attention, it makes the gardener’s life a great adventure."

Welcome Preethe,

yes alchemist is my favourite too, it made me do stuff that I wont do normally

We should learn how to live by the heart from this author.

//To show you one of life's simple lessons, When you possess great treasures within you, and try to tell others of them, seldom are you believed.
//

ha ha fact , see thats what we both are doing and no one believes - well some do , I believe you and I hope u believe me LOL

That quote is beautiful - for me I like them because it helps me to bring out the exact words at times matching to mood, uplifting and energising, and knowing that someone has gone through the same feelings as you did

I think we can write another post on Quotes :)

Welcome!

I have tried Dale's book, would try to get other author's works.

Reading your comments I remember the mysterious people of Paulo's books. They are called "Warriors of light " People who bring light to others.

Although I have that comment in my profile, I never actually seen me like that. Thanks :) I am motivated to do more.

Good day Sri!!Again, thank you for your comment.I feel so happy because there is someone who is able to relate with my posts, someone who patiently reads the every details of my posts. It is so glad to know that you let your hearts be opened wide enough and let the words of God enter through the deepest part of you..I'm sure God is smiling at you at this very moment. I do not consider my posts as coming from my very own intelligence but I got it from the deepest part of my heart, and I do believe God is just guiding me to have it done well. After all I am not that intelligent. I don't have that that higher IQ, but I do claim I have higher EQ(Emotional Quotient).Due to my own experiences my emotions and spirituality were well molded by God.
And now I feel so blessed to have someone like you who appreciates my posts.I really think you are a very good person. Yes, I know you are.I feel that we almost have the same personality basing upon reading your blogs too and reading your comments as well.I find your posts interesting too.In fact, I got something very precius in this quote of yours:
“In his or her life, each person can take one of two attitudes: to build or to plant. Builders may take years over their tasks, but one day they will finish what they are doing. Then they will stop, hemmed in by their own walls. Life becomes meaningless once the building is finished. Those who plant suffer the storms and the seasons and rarely rest. Unlike a building, a garden never stops growing. And by its constant demands on the gardener’s attention, it makes the gardener’s life a great adventure."
---I like it Sri.It reminds me more to focus on the things that will last rather than just superficial or temporary things.Thank you Sri for your kindness!!I appreciate your personality.

Let us continue to PLANT, and enjoy a sumptuous HARVEST in our life!!!God bless us!!!
